PolishingSubmitted by Casey on February 16, 2008 - 7:57pm.
While the Settings window is merely just a pretty face without actually working, this is the time to polish it. Sometime ago I was fairly displeased with how the standard listbox held their elements too close to the edge. I searched for a solution, but I found none that was acceptable. Until now. A package that I used in a few spots came to the rescue. Tablelist. I was able to cut it down to only offer one column, and remove the headers. Thus it looks just like the regular listbox. :) An added bonus to this, is that the text looks much nicer, crisper; than the old listbox aswell. I can't wait to implement this for the Nicklist. I have also implemented a 'sizegrip', for the Settings window, and soon all children windows. This isn't really needed to resize the windows, but it does look nicer, and gives the unknowing user a clue where to click and drag, to resize the window. Unfortunately this past week I have been ill. So ill I haven't been able to concentrate on coding. Until today, but as I sit here typing this I am not feeling so well.
