A day of coding ... Kind of.Submitted by Casey on January 20, 2008 - 9:22pm.
So, today phobie and I spoke via email. He's fairly busy with his schooling. And I look forward to him being able to seeing more commits from him. I can't speak for myself, seeing as how i've been busy as hell aswell. This past summer, my wife and I bought our first house. After everything was said and done, we should have done two things. A: Bought a house months before (it really wasn't so bad after all), and B: waited a few more months for the house prices to really start to level off. Oh well. We're here now and enjoying it. Our neighbors are pretty kick-ass too. Gave us a christmas stocking for, you guess it, christmas. I've never ever had neighbors like these people. It is rather nice. We also have two pets now. A cat and a dog. Surprisingly enough they get along rather well. However, the dog tends to chase the cat if he makes any sudden movements. But, I suspect he rather likes the chase. He "knows", he'll get chased if he runs in front of the dog! On coding today, I didn't get any 'new' stuff done. However, I fixed a few bugs (see the bug tracker), one of which wasn't even a reported bug. It had to do with a space in the filename for opening up the new help browser. This means, we're getting that much closer to actually switching from opening up a web browser (yuck) for just viewing the savIRC docs. I realized today that it was going to be a fairly big job switching over to the new Settings dialog. I think that put a crimp in my plans today. A bit intimidating if I do say so myself. With luck, I'll have some good news to blog about, next Sunday.
