SYNOPSIS.
/ignore <mask> [flags] [timer]
SUMMARY.
The mask can either be the nickname, or the hostmask of the person who you want to ignore. Flags are optional and the default ignores everything from the user, you can use any combination of the flags. Timer is also optional, if it is specified, then the ignore will not be permanent. The timer is in minutes.
The available flags are:
a = All
q = query
n = Notice
c = CTCP
d = DCC
So, to ignore everything from the user [SQ]werl, for 5 minutes you would type.
/ignore [SQ]werl a 5
And you would see this in your active window.
