SUMMARY. 

The amsg command is similar to the ame command, but is not an action. It sends the text to the various windows as if you had typed it specifically for that window.

So you would type something like this.

/msg is just doing a test
			

Which would look like this in the channel, query, or dcc chat window.

<[SQ]werl> is just doing a test
