NickName. Put a Unique NickName here.
Alternate. Put a alternate unique nickname here
Real Name. Put anything here. Be creative.
Invisible. This doesn't make you invisible literally. This prevents your nickname from being listed when someone executes the IRC command /who #someChannel. By enabling this option you can help cut down on the amount of spam messages that you receive.

The Identd system was used to verify your user name, when people commonly used multi-user operating systems. This is an IRC feature that has been out-grown but has never been deprecated. Some servers require that you have the Identd activated, or else you won't be able to connect.
User ID. This is what will appear in your hostmask.
System. You can leave this at the default. Although it doesn't really matter if you change it to the system that you use.
Port. You will want to keep this at the default port, unless you know that your Identd Server is accessible from another port.
Enable Identd Server. You will want to do this to prevent a tilde (~) from being prefixed to your hostmask. Some channels ban anyone with a tilde to prevent and control spam/botnets.
Asynchronous server. Allows you to connect to multiple servers without waiting for pending connections to complete.
Show Identd requests. Tells you who is requesting the information of your Identd.
